At 544 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Mount Olympus to near Big Cottonwood Canyon to 7 miles south of Wasatch Mountain State Park. Movement was northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Salt Lake City, Provo, Sandy, Murray, Park City, Heber City, West Jordan, Orem, Taylorsville, Cottonwood Heights, Midvale, Holladay, South Salt Lake, Heber, Lindon, Alpine, Summit Park, Daniel, Little Cottonwood Canyon, and Millcreek.
